STEP ONE: Board Up and Emergency Services
During a fire, first responders often break windows and cut hole in the roof to ventilate the home, slowing the fires growth. After the fire is out, we extract standing water, board up any holes to the exterior and provide temporary fencing, if needed, to protect your home and belongings from the elements.
STEP TWO: Assessing the Damage
Our estimators evaluate the damage to your home or business. They will estimate the amount and type of work needed to restore your property and personal belonging to their original condition.
STEP THREE: Smoke, Soot and Odor Removal
Smoke and soot can penetrate carpets, drapes, and other textiles within your home. We eliminate the odor along with the risk with immediate cleaning. We use industry approved techniques, professional tools and equipment to break up smoke molecules, eliminating odors from every type of fabric.
STEP FOUR: Structural Drying and Cleaning
If water was used to suppress the fire, Penco will extract the water from affected rooms. We then use dehumidifiers and industrial air movers to pull moistures from the air. Once the home is dry, we clean all affected surfaces with EPA registered antimicrobial disinfectants.
STEP FIVE: Personal Property Cleaning
Penco Contents has the facilities dedicated to disinfecting and eliminating hazardous smoke residue from all your personal property. We handle all types of cleaning and deodorization of contents including electronics, collectibles, antiques, crystal, appliances, bikes, exercise equipment, high-detail items, china, dinnerware, oriental rugs, tools, metal items, sports goods, industrial commodities, scheduled items, furniture, clothing, and a never-ending list of other hard and soft goods as well as providing pack-out and storage of your belongings.
