PENCO did a wonderful job from start to finish. We felt that everyone at PENCO cared for our property. If we are ever in need again, my first call will be to PENCO.

From start to finish, we have had nothing but an absolutely wonderful, genuine, professional experience with our Penco friends! Losing your house of 40+ years from a traumatic tornado is something I’d imagine no one wants to experience, but if we had to go through this, I’m glad we were able to have the Penco team help us every step of the way. They took a very emotionally-sensitive situation and handled it with compassion and empathy. Trey shared great organization, understanding, expertise and talent in the various phases of demolition and reconstruction. They listened, answered our questions, were extremely responsive and always gave us excellent recommendations on the restoration process. And ultimately, we ended up with a beautifully remodeled home that we’re very pleased with! Thanks, especially to Jeff Halus toward the latter part of the project and to Trey towards to the beginning. They were both so awesome to work with!

Best company I have ever worked with. Did super job in most timely manner. Always responsive to any questions or concerns. Promptly handled everything. Stuck to estimated project timeline. Handled all insurance issues with the insurance adjuster directly. 2/3 of my house had to be redone after tornado hit it, and I have zero negative comments about this company's work.

Solution Provided:

The EF-4 tornado caused extensive damage to the home.  PENCO came in immediately after the storm to board up and tarp the house to prevent further water damage and damage from other factors.

We then began working with them to file their insurance claim so the restoration process could begin. Most of the main level roof structure, as well as the back deck will need to be demolished in order to rebuild. Our team will coordinate with the insurance company adjuster to determine if the home will also need mitigation services.

Solution Provided: After the temporary repairs were completed, the PENCO team worked to extract 400 square feet of water from the drama room. They also removed the affected ceiling tiles and scheduled asbestos testing, but no abatement was needed for the space. They also performed a lead test on the plaster wall and received negative results as well. The team placed three air airscrubbers prior to demolition. After demolition, four dehumidifiers and twenty-five airmovers were placed in order to dry the affected area. The PENCO project manager then rebuilt the ceiling structure, replaced drywall and the trim. They also resanded the stage, as well as polished and cleaned the floor. PENCO worked with the school's insurance adjuster throughout the process to restore the school.
