Why did the customer contact us?
The customer contacted PENCO after he noticed water damage in his shower. After the water mitigation manager performed an inspection, he found that the shower on the main level of the home had been leaking and affected the bath, edges of the two adjoining bedrooms/closets, as well as the overhead of the unfinished basement area.
Solutions provided:
During the inspection, he observed that there was possible microbial growth on the subfloor of the basement. The mitigation manager proceeded to meet with National Environmental Solutions (NESI) at the home in order to perform protocol air sampling, which found that there were elevated levels of mold spores. NESI gave PENCO the protocol and the team completed remediation. Then NESI came back onsite in order to get clearance approvals for the home.
The team worked with the customer's insurance company (Georgia Farm Bureau) in order to streamline the process for the customer.
The customer will now be handed off to the PENCO structure division in order to complete his repairs.
